Career Opportunities

  • Inventory Control Clerk

    PEOPLE’S Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining adequate levels of stock to meet daily distribution demands. The Inventory Control Clerk must be able to count and record all inventories and enter in a main database while minimizing excess supply.

    Responsibilities

    • Receive incoming product upon delivery
    • Responsible for ensuring that inventory follows applicable state regulations
    • Track all inventory including flower, pre-rolls, topicals tinctures, edibles, concentrates and accessories
    • Responsible for assisting and tracking recalled products
    • Conducting inventory reconciliation with sales reports
    • Perform regular/ unscheduled compliance audits
    • Comply and update inventory tracking when industry guidance, regulations, or laws are changed
    • Responsible for reporting noticed indications of loss, diversion, or theft
    • Record and report overall facility waste
    • Discovering and reporting trends in inventory
    • Partner with the Inventory Control Manager to create and implement inventory control procedures
    • Daily restocking of sales floor inventory
    • Storage of all inventory and inventory locations
    • Responsible for the cleanliness of all inventory locations

     

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years’ experience in a related industry
    • Associates Degree in related field (preferred)
    • Proficiency in technology software, desktop electronics, MS Office
    • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Proficient at multi- tasking in a fast-paced environment
    • Positive team player who works well with others
    • Knowledgeable and passionate about the Cannabis Industry (preferred)

  • Director of Retail Operations

    PEOPLE’S Director of Retail Operations will be responsible for streamlining retail functions at the flagship location, as well as a new locations. The Director of Retail Operations will be responsible for overseeing a large number of retail staff, increasing operational output, developing a customer retention program, and creating meaningful metrics around performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop clear cross-functional business processes that enable efficient, simplified ways of working in order to streamline retail functions
    • Source and implement the best technology and equipment to streamline retail operations
    • Reinforce the existing company culture and ensure brand consistency across all retail locations
    • Collaborate with retail management teams and assist departments with the implementation plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization
    • Create and implement marketing and sales campaigns to encourage customer engagement
    • Manage, supervise and direct the activities of the dispensary teams; Regularly train staff according to company guidelines; Implement dispensary policies and ensure staff follows best practices; Set sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them
    • Create effective organization and information gathering for all inventory regarding special patient orders, employee patient samples and weekly deals
    • Track various sales metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
    • Ensure the dispensaries remains compliant with security, inventory and local and state regulations; Prepare staff to effectively lead state inspectors through unannounced inspections
    • Maintain records for all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary employee and patient/customer information, logbooks, inventory adjustments and destruction reports
    • Review performance of other dispensary employees on a regular basis
    • Oversee all hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees
    • Occasional travel between retail facilities

     

    Qualifications

    • Experience working with small, start-up companies
    • 5+ years of experience as a Director of Retail Operations or an equivalent position
    • Exceptional change management and leadership skills
    • Strong project management and implementation skills – must be hands-on
    • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
    • Ability to implement SOPs and ERP software to improve business functions
    • Self-sufficient and creative leadership approach

  • Assistant General Manager

    PEOPLE’S Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all retail operations. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) partners with the General Manager to plan and execute business development strategies for growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Assists the General Manager with daily retail operations
    • Directs and coordinates and oversees departmental activities to meet business goals and objectives
    • Reviews activities, costs, operations, and forecast-data to determine progress towards company goals and objectives
    • Manages all record, timekeeping, attendance tracking
    • Enforces company Standard Operating Procedures
    • Oversees key projects, processes, and performance reports
    • Ensures facility compliance with federal, state, and local industry regulations
    • Develops and communicates employee evaluations

    PEOPLE’S Retail Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service offering a professional and personable first impression and a great overall experience to all customers, vendors, and guests. The Retail Associate plays a vital role representing the brand with passion and offers extensive cannabis knowledge and recommendations based on consumer needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Greets visitors as they enter and leave the store
    • Checking validity of government issued identification and MMID cards
    • Answering and directing incoming calls with a positive attitude
    • Keeping up with store procedures and rules
    • Builds professional relationships with customers, vendors, and employees
    • Keeps receptionist and work areas clean, organized and presentable in a brand- appropriate manner
    • Retain all products and strains on menus and educate customers (e.g. product features, health benefits, pricing, exc.)
    • Handle all customer-related questions, inquiries, and orders
    • Sale referrals, cross- sell products and introduce new products depending on customer needs
    • Accurately use and maintain the POS system
