Inventory Control Clerk

PEOPLE’S Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining adequate levels of stock to meet daily distribution demands. The Inventory Control Clerk must be able to count and record all inventories and enter in a main database while minimizing excess supply.


  • Receive incoming product upon delivery
  • Responsible for ensuring that inventory follows applicable state regulations
  • Track all inventory including flower, pre-rolls, topicals tinctures, edibles, concentrates and accessories
  • Responsible for assisting and tracking recalled products
  • Conducting inventory reconciliation with sales reports
  • Perform regular/ unscheduled compliance audits
  • Comply and update inventory tracking when industry guidance, regulations, or laws are changed
  • Responsible for reporting noticed indications of loss, diversion, or theft
  • Record and report overall facility waste
  • Discovering and reporting trends in inventory
  • Partner with the Inventory Control Manager to create and implement inventory control procedures
  • Daily restocking of sales floor inventory
  • Storage of all inventory and inventory locations
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of all inventory locations


  • 2-3 years’ experience in a related industry
  • Associates Degree in related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in technology software, desktop electronics, MS Office
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient at multi- tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive team player who works well with others
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about the Cannabis Industry (preferred)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid identification to work in the US
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
